/GOVERNED AI AGENTS FOR OPERATIONS

Ready for SuperIntelligence (SI), and what it takes.

Microsoft AI has formed a team to build SuperIntelligence, and OpenAI’s chief executive writes that it is close. No one can sell it to you today. What we build is an operation ready to put each more capable model to work: agents on models from Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI and Google, connected to your systems, reading one trusted version of the data, tested before they are trusted, and approved by people.

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

What SuperIntelligence-ready means.

Two of the labs say it in their own words. Readiness is the part an operation can work on now.

SuperIntelligence-Ready

What makes an operation SuperIntelligence-ready.

When an operation gets these right, a more capable model becomes an upgrade you plan, not a rebuild. Criteria for discussion. No assessment has been performed.

  1. A Choice of Frontier Models

Agents run on models from Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI and Google, chosen per task. A new model is tested on your cases before it takes over.

  2. Connected to the Real Operation

Agents reach your ERP, WMS, TMS, MES and POS through governed tools, so a more capable model works through the connections you already have.

  3. One Trusted Version of the Data

Every agent reads the same governed data, with its lineage, so a smarter model reasons over facts, not over three versions of them.

  4. Measured Before It Is Trusted

Each agent has a fixed test set from your own cases. A new model passes it before it touches a record. People approve every change that matters.

  5. Mapped to Singapore’s Agentic AI Framework

Each agent bounded, owned, tested and explained to its users, against the four areas of IMDA’s Model AI Governance Framework for Agentic AI.

GOVERNANCE

Four areas of the framework, and a control for each.

IMDA launched the framework on 22 January 2026 and updated it on 20 May 2026. It sets out four areas across the life of an agent. Here is the control we build for each.

Assess and Bound the Risks Upfront

Each agent has a named owner and a fixed list of the tools it may call, and runs under the requesting user’s permissions.

Make Humans Meaningfully Accountable

A named person approves any action that changes a record, a payment or a customer message, and every approval is logged.

Implement Technical Controls and Processes

Evaluation before production and after it, least-privilege access for every tool, tracing and monitoring in production, and a rollback for every release.

Enable End-User Responsibility

Role-based Academy training for the people who work with agents, from AI fundamentals to agent administration.

MODELS

Four model makers. One governed way to use them.

We are not tied to one model maker. Each agent runs on the model that passes its tests for the job, behind the same identity, tools, logging and approval gates.

Anthropic

Claude models, generally available in Microsoft Foundry since 29 June 2026 with Azure billing and governance, and in Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Google

Gemini models, through Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise, and in agents built with Microsoft Agent Framework, which connects to Gemini.

Model and product names belong to their owners. Naming them describes what we build with, not a partnership.

WHY NOW

Why now, and why here.

The software, the habits and the rules have all arrived. The work left is a plan that joins them up.

Agents Are Moving into the Software You Already Run

Gartner predicts that 40% of enterprise applications will feature task-specific AI agents by the end of 2026, up from less than 5% in 2025.

Gartner, 26 August 2025

Few Places Use AI More Than Singapore

Microsoft’s September 2026 AI diffusion report puts Singapore second worldwide, with 64.3% of people aged 15 to 64 using generative AI, behind the UAE.

Few Leadership Teams Are Aligned on It

In Microsoft’s 2026 Work Trend Index, only 24% of Singapore respondents said their leadership is clearly and consistently aligned on AI.

The Controls Now Exist

Singapore’s agentic AI framework arrived in January 2026, and Microsoft Agent 365, a control plane for agents, became generally available in May.

THREE WAYS TO START

Three ways to start. One team behind all three.

Consulting, development and deployment, each as a defined engagement with a defined result. The people who advise you also build and run what they advised.

Consulting

AI Readiness Assessment

Find the agent worth building first: use cases weighed for value, data, risk and cost; the model, tools and approvals each one needs; and a costed recommendation you keep, whether or not we build it.

Development

First Agent in Production

One agent, live on your systems: built on your data, tested on your own cases, with governed tools into your ERP, WMS, TMS, MES or POS, released to one site, lane or line, then measured.

About Data and Enterprise AI

Deployment

Agent Operations and Governance

Keep every agent registered, watched and accountable: every agent registered with its own Entra Agent ID and governed through Microsoft Agent 365 where it is licensed, human checkpoints mapped to Singapore’s agentic AI framework, model upgrades tested before they go live, and a monthly service review covering incidents, cost and change.
